The Ev Effect & Ele's Place. It starts from the heart

In 2018, Tami Nixon and her sister decided to run the Ele's Race 5K a small act of kindness in support of Ele's Place, an organization that helps grieving children and families heal. That one step turned into a powerful ripple.

In 2019, our family joined. By 2020, when the race went virtual, we invited our extended family. And in 2021, more friends and supporters came on board. That little ripple became a wave of love, remembrance, and purpose.

Ele's Place gave us a safe place to heal, to talk about Everson, and to grow through grief. Today, gathering each year to raise funds and run this race is one of the many ripple effects created in Everson's name and it's one of the ways we continue turning pain into purpose.

This is what The Ev Effect is all about: small acts of kindness creating big change.
